Sports-drink.net Review: Is it a Scam or Legit?

Sports and energy drinks have been growing in popularity which got even bigger when YouTubers KSI and Paul Logan launched their drink, Prime. However, this trend has been noticed by scammers which is bad news for customers. Thus, when Sports-drink.net was among the most searched sites on ScamAdviser, we decided to look.

Sports-drink.net is a webshop that sells sports hydration drinks from Prime to C4 and NOCCO. Are they legit or a scam? Let’s find out, shall we?

Registration Date

According to the information I found on ScamAdviser and Whois.com, Sports-drink.net was registered in February 2023. Though there is nothing wrong with this, newer websites are generally harder to trust. In most cases, there isn’t much information out there which makes it harder to make an informed decision.

Sports-drink.net Customer Reviews

When I searched for customer reviews on ScamAdviser, I found most of the customers complaining that their orders got placed but they received fake tracking numbers.

There are similar complaints on our Facebook page regarding sport-drink.net too.

I could not find any other reviews about the site on popular review sites such as Sitejabber, Trustpilot, or MyWOT.

Are They Registered?

According to the information I found on the site under the “Legal Notice” section, they claim that “SPORTS DRINK is registered in the United Kingdom under the number 45 144 239.”

However, when I searched for the same information on the Companies House register, I could not find such a registration number or company name. This is common with scammers who throw random numbers in there to throw customers off. They assume that no one will be bothered to check and the presence of such a number makes them more believable.

Conclusion

In general, there is a high likelihood that Sports-drink.net is a scam as the red flags are hard to ignore. The webshop is relatively very young which does little to boost the confidence of shoppers. The reviews I found were generally negative with many complaining that they got a fake tracking number. The site claims to be run by a registered company, but I could not find proof that the company actually exists.

Overall, customers should exercise caution when shopping at Sports-drink.net. There are more reputable shopping sites out there you can try.
