Plushframes.com Review: A Legit or Scam Shop?

When a shop offers a deal that seems to be too good to be true, curious shoppers will always take a chance. With Plushframes, they are offering 3 pairs of sunglasses for the price of one. That raises more questions than answers as one ponders how the company makes profits with such high discounts. With this in mind, we decided to check out what Plushframes does and whether it's a legit or a scam shop.

When did they start?

According to Plushframes, they claim the site was started in 2018. However, according to ScamAdviser, the site was started in April 2022 making the site a few weeks old. In most cases, dubious websites will try to exaggerate their start date as new websites always struggle to gain the confidence of users instantly.

What the customers say

Customer reviews help shed some light on a website as customers share their firsthand experiences. On Trust Pilot, a trusted review website, Plushframes has an average review of 2.8 out of 5 ratings. This is a relatively low rating for any online store. Customers have written that Plushframes is a scam as the products never arrived.

On ScamAdviser, the site has an ever low rating of 1/5 stars. Though there are not many reviews out there, the few present are very low.

Interestingly though, the website has its own reviews which they claim are verified. For instance, the reviews for a product called “PABLO” includes a review by a user dubbed Frank T.

This is not a characteristic you would normally see on legit sites as it appears desperate and amateur.

No social media pages

Plushframes does not appear to have any social media handles. There are no social media buttons at the bottom of the site. This is highly unusual as most sites use social media to attract more customers.

High discount rates

Looking at the products on Plushframes, one can easily note the high discount rates being offered. Most of the products have a similar initial price of $69.99 but then are offered at the exact same product of $14.99.

This seems like a cheap marketing strategy to win over customers with insanely lower prices. It is a strategy that most scammers use to try and convince customers that they are getting a better deal.

Considering that customers will also get 2 free products once they buy one, the prices don't make sense at all. Why would a company sell products at a ridiculously low price and still have giveaways?

Overall, Plushframes has characteristics that overlap with what we see with other scams. Buyers should proceed with caution when shopping here.
