In this Newtaka.com review, we will analyze everything to do with the site and give all the relevant information to know whether the site is legit or not. Newtaka was one of the most-searched sites on ScamAdviser and therefore we decided to check it out.
Newtaka claims to be an all-in-one source for tech things and more. But is it legit or a scam?
Usually, the older the website, the more likely its a legit site. This is because its hard to conceal scamming habits for long. That’s not to say that newer website cannot be legit.
With Newtaka.com, they claim to have been started in 2021 according to the information available on the About Us Page.
But on Whois.com, the site was registered on 26th July 2022 making it barely a few months old. Exaggerating the age of a website has been a common trick by scammers who want to appear more legitimate than they are.
When a website goes live, there is always a need to ensure everything is authentic. When I tried searching a phrase, I was surprised to see the same exact phrase appear in different websites.
I searched:
“Welcome to StimeBD, your number one source for all things tech and others. We’re dedicated to providing you the very best of technology, with an emphasis on”
The same phrase appears on sites like LavBD.com which also has the same outlook and design as Newtaka.com
This could be a part of a larger syndicate of scam sites that use the same template to duplicate content over and over.
Again, before going live, legit websites will want to have all their information in order. But with Newtaka, the some bits seem off or incomplete. For instance, on the About Us page, they say:
“We’re dedicated to providing you the very best of technology, with an emphasis on “
They don’t go further to explain what they have empahsis on.
That’s not all as most of their page are blank with just heading to show. This appears to be unprofessional and could indicate the site was only set up for short term basis.
There appears to be a lot of things left hanging and a lot of unasnwered questons. Most of the charcteristics we found on Newtaka.com overlap with what we see with other scams. The site feels incomplete and there are many blank pages.
The site’s age has been has exaggerated and there appears to be a lot of copied content from other websites. Caution is advised while dealing with Newtaka.com.
