Movies7.to is a video streaming site. It’s placement of the latest movies immediately grabs your attention. Plus the site appears to be well designed and, more importantly, free from ads. Which is something they state clearly to set themselves apart from the bootleg/illegal movie sites full of ads and scammy links. 

The question is whether the site is all that it claims to be? Does it live up to its own hype? 

Let’s have a look. 

The first page that greets you when you open movies7.to is this strange introduction-cum-disclaimer:

Website takedowns are usually done for sites that violate laws and regulations. They are initiated by the party that has discovered the copyright violation of their content. Admission of this fact by movies7.to that they have been taken down severally is technically admission of law breaking. 

Secondly, providing links to illegal movie streaming sites is a kind of complicity in the crime. It’s like I can't steal what you want but I know this place where you can steal easily! Doesn’t really work, does it?

What About the Links?

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, they say. The proof of movies7.to is in watching the movies. This site has links to phishing sites embedded cleverly on the movie selections 

provided. You will not see them. And your computer will be infected unless you have a working and updated antivirus software. This is always the danger with illegal movie streaming sites. They are a hotbed of malicious phishing links. Please beware. 

The first time you click on any movie title, you will get a warning from your antivirus that the link is suspicious and cannot be opened without some loss of vital information. 

Yet, the second time you click the same link, it will go to the actual illegal movie streaming page. But even then, your antivirus will show that it has blocked multiple threats. 

The site claims to provide links to sites where you can watch movies but the experience of watching happens right inside the movies7.to domain! There is no navigation to other sites.

What Do Reviews Say?

Both SItejabber.com and Trustpilot.com do not have reviews on them left by users who have visited movies7.to. This may be because the site is young. It has only been live since 2020. Mywot.com reviews the site as safe with a 4-star rating. Though there are also no user reviews there. 

Movies7 is full of suspicious malicious links. Some which are triggered without action on your part. These are  links that may download malware to your computer or be a channel to steal your personal and payment information. 

I suggest you go for reliable video streaming sites which may be free or subscription-based without risks of dangerous links.
