Mangaowl.net is a free online Manga comic book reading site. Manga comics are produced in Japan and have their own definitive style. While users may create an account on the site for commenting and interaction, anyone can select any Manga comic and read without an account. The content is free to view and share on social media. But is it legal?
A disclaimer at the bottom of the homepage reveals that content shared is done so illegally without the content owners’ permission. I don't know about you but, I’d feel pretty bad if somebody benefited from my creative work without due attribution to me. Even worse if it was shared freely for all to use.
