Usually, a site will offer contact details that users can use to reach out to users. On Joweqa.com, they seem to have listed a free Gmail account as their official email.
We found this to be strange as anybody can open a free Gmail account. But this is a common trick used by scammers who use a free email rather than an official one to keep costs down and make it harder for customers to get in touch.
We have noted that most dubious webshops duplicate content over and over as the sites are only meant to serve for a short time. That’s the case with Joweqa.com which has the same content as other sites.
When we searched the phrase, “We use innovative chemistry with modern design craftsmanship to consistently set the standard for Daily necessities, household goods, etc..” taken from the ‘About Us’ page, we were shocked to see other sites using the same exact phrase. It could be that Joweqa is a part of a larger syndicate of scam websites that use the same content but under different names.
Joweqa.com was registered in October 2022, which makes the site barely two months old. This could explain why there are no reviews about the site that we could find online. There were no reviews on ScamAdviser, MyWOT, or Trustpilot.
We found that Joweqa.com is offering huge discounts of as high as 39% on almost all of its products. While there is nothing wrong with webshops offering customers discounts, when it's done on a large scale, it raises a few eyebrows, especially when the website is new.
On top of that, they also use high-pressure sales tactics to try and force users to make a rushed decision. For instance, they show the number of users currently on the page as well as the number of purported sold items. These numbers are likely to be fake and coded into the page to add pressure on the viewer.
There are a lot of similarities between Joweqa.com and websites that have been confirmed to be scams in the past. The content is identical to other sites which could also indicate that the webshop is part of a network of dubious sites.
We could not find any customer reviews which is never a good sign and the store is barely a few months old. They seem to be offering huge discounts which could be a plot to lure unsuspecting customers. Caution is advised while shopping at Joweqa.com and it may be wise to purchase from other more reliable shopping websites.
