Is Zolucky.com a Scam or Legit? | Website Review

Zolucky is a website that claims to be selling women’s clothing at low prices. As the website has consistently been among the most-searched sites in previous weeks, we have done an in-depth review of the website for the benefit of our visitors.

Zolucky is a website that claims to be selling women’s clothing items such as Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, Shoes, Swimwear and more. The website was created in November 2019, which means the website is nearly one and a half years old. This is a good sign as scam websites rarely last more than three to six months. It also has an Alexa rank of around 45,000 that marks it as considerably popular.

However, it is not good that the website is being operated anonymously. The domain registration data does not include important information such as the owner’s name, location and contact details. This information has been hidden using a paid service.

The products on the website are very familiar, as the same have been found on numerous, including some that I have reviewed previously. Judging by the products on sale, Zolucky appears to be part of China-based ChicV Ltd.’s gigantic network of online stores, all of which sell pretty much the same items and are notorious for providing customers with a bad shopping experience.

Looking at the images on the website, it is clear that they are not actual photos of the clothing; images of designs have been superimposed onto images of models. Therefore, the products received by customers are likely to appear different in real life compared to the images shown. As we will see later in the article, this does indeed seem to be the case.

The content on the website is not original either. The About Us page of the website contains the following text:

Zolucky is a platform from the online fashion shop with independent fashion designers. We strive to offer our customers original, high quality and exclusive fashion products from independent designers.

Identical text can be found on at least 99 other websites. When I analyzed these sites in the Scamadviser Analyzer, I found that 80 out of 86 (93%) websites checked have shared or neighbouring IP addresses. 27 of these websites have been registered in China or Hong Kong and domain registration information of 56 sites have been hidden using a paid service.

5 of these domains have been registered by ‘CHICV INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED’ which suggests a high probability that Zolucky too is part of ChicV Ltd’s network of online stores.

Scamadviser Verification

The Scamadviser page of Zolucky has not been claimed by the company.

On the Contact Us page, the company name ‘Xi'an Tiandi Zhihe Network Culture Communication Co., Ltd.’ has been mentioned along with an address of a location in Shaanxi, China. This company information could possibly be fake or of a shell company as there is no trace of it online except in relation to Zolucky.

Though the website does not provide any links to social media pages, I found a Facebook page for Zolucky that has been created on 22nd March 2021. This is extremely odd as the website has been operational for more than a year.

facebook2-3c65e.PNG a:0:{}

Upon further research, I found that Zolucky had other 3 pages that have been deleted from Facebook, presumably due to a high number of complaints from users. It is not normal for a genuine brand to have multiple Facebook pages. Zolucky is probably still advertising on Facebook through proxy pages.

The only real way to contact Zolucky is by email as no phone number has been provided.

User Reviews

There are thousands of reviews available for Zolucky. Though many of them are positive, it seems that they need to be taken with a grain of salt. On Zolucky’s TrustPilot page, there is a disclaimer that they found several fake reviews, which have apparently been removed. Despite this, there are still several reviews of questionable authenticity.

Even after the supposed rating manipulation, 42% of Zolucky’s reviews on TrustPilot are negative.

On Scamadviser, the reviews are exclusively negative. The complaints put forward by customers are typical for websites in the ChicV Ltd. network, including bait-and-switch advertising, missing items, low-quality, wrong size and fit, poor customer service and difficulty in getting refunds. You can read the reviews of Zolucky here.

Conclusion

There is an extremely high likelihood that Zolucky might be a scam.

It has a Trust Score of 1% on Scamadviser, indicating that it is exceptionally risky to shop on this website. You can read more about Zolucky’s Trust Score here.

There is reason to believe that Zolucky is part ChicV Ltd’s vast network of Chinese online stores. These stores are operated by the same company and sell the same or similar items. The concerning part is that pretty much all the websites have identical complaints against them such as deceptive advertising, inferior quality of the clothing, wrong size and fit, poor customer support, customer-unfriendly policies and difficulty in getting refunds.

The images on the website are not those of the actual products, as they are simply images of designs superimposed into images of models. Therefore, the images are not an accurate representation of what customers actually end up receiving.

Zolucky had three different Facebook pages that have been deleted from Facebook and are no longer allowed to advertise on the platform, probably due to a flood of complaints from customers. Alarmingly, Zolucky has simply set up a fourth Facebook page and might be advertising through proxy pages.

Zolucky’s TrustPilot page has a disclaimer which says that several fake reviews were detected and deleted. This clearly shows that Zolucky has attempted to unfairly manipulate its ratings in the past and might still be doing so.

It is advisable to avoid shopping on Zolucky or any of the related 99 websites, as there is a high probability of having a bad shopping experience.
