Is Zizmall.com a Scam or Legit?

Zizmall.com is a website that lists innerwear and face masks for sale at low prices. I decided to review the website as it was among the most searched websites on ScamAdviser.com.

Zizmall Website Information

Zizmall is suspicious from the start as it declares that the items are being sold at discounted price ‘for one day only’. However, the message is being displayed for several days as per my observation.

According to the domain registration information, Zizmall.com was registered on 6th May 2022. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact information have been hidden using a privacy guard. Therefore, it is a new website being operated anonymously.

Zizmall claims to offer a 50% discount and the prices do reflect this. However, new websites offering steep discounts often turn out to be scams.

The overall quality of Zizmall’s website is quite poor. Several links don’t work and important pages are missing. This indicates that the site was created in a hurry with no attention to detail. Genuine businesses ensure that their websites do not have errors and Zizmall does not appear to have made such an effort.

The strangest part of the website is the About Us page. On the page, it is stated that Zizmall is active since 2006 even though the current website did not exist before May 2022. There are also several references to sportswear even though Zizmall does not sell any.

I found that the text is copied as there are at least 20 other websites using the same content. The list of sites is given in the Appendix section of the article.

While testing the checkout process, I found an extremely dubious occurrence that is commonly seen on scam sites. When I added $580 worth of items to my cart and tried to checkout, I found that the total was automatically reduced to $98. This could be a tactic to prevent PayPal from detecting suspicious activity.

Zizmall Company Information

There is a conspicuous lack of information about the company running the website. Usually, this information would be given on the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy pages. The only place on the website where any company details are given in the Contact Us page. It contains the following information:

Email: AuroraPollitt23@outlook.com, PhoenixJim23@outlook.com
Company Name: Zizmall Ltd
Company Address: 71 Shelton Street, Convent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ
(This is not a returning address)

Zizmall can only be contacted on two email addresses which look like they belong to random individuals. When I looked up the company ‘Zizmall Ltd.’ in the UK Companies House register, I found that no such company exists. Therefore, it appears that Zizmall may be lying about being a legitimate business.

There are social media icons given on the website but they are dummies as they lead nowhere. Zizmall does not seem to have a social media presence. I found a Facebook page carrying the same name but it might be unrelated as the page was created in 2020.

Customer Reviews

There are two reviews for Zizmall available on ScamAdviser and both allege that Zizmall is a scam. Not many details have been given, so my best guess is that the customers did not receive any confirmation or package after placing their orders.

There is also a review on the Facebook page written less than a day before this article was written and it also says that Zizmall is a scam.

Conclusion

After going through the entire website and reading customer reviews, there do not seem to be any reasons to believe that Zizmall is trustworthy. The website is shoddy, contains copied content and provides false company information. Zizmall seems to have been created for the sole purpose of conning online shoppers. Therefore, it may be wise to not shop on this website or any of the 20 seemingly related online stores.
