Have you recently come across the website Usinginsert[.]com and wondered whether it’s too good to be true? Do you want to buy a product from them but don’t know if they are legit or a scam? Read on to find out these, and many more answers about the site.
Usinginsert.com is an online store that sells fashion products. They claim they want to help buyers express themselves.
On the contact us page, they list their usinginsert@gmail.com official email address. As you can already tell, this is a free email account, which anybody can create.
Why would an online store, with its own domain, have a free email account? This is similar to what we see with scammers who don’t want to invest heavily in the webshop.
We could not find any reviews about usinginsert.com anywhere on the web. There were no reviews on sites like ScamAdviser, Trustpilot, or MyWOT.
Though there is nothing wrong with a site that was started barely two weeks ago having any reviews, it does not help build the confidence of users.
Upon closer look at the website, we found that they may be using similar content from other sites. For instance, when we searched “Lace-up Tube Top Sexy Backless Long Dress Robe,” we found similar content on aliexpress.com.
It's not just the pictures and descriptions that are similar but the descriptions as well. This is yet another common trick used by scammers who copy content from well-known webshops to look legit.
There is not much information out there about Usinginsert.com as the site was registered in November 2022. However, the information we gathered suggests that Usinginsert.com is likely a scam.
For starters, they are using a free email address, usinginsert@gmail.com, which does little to win the confidence of users. Some of their products are similar to other sites. We could not find any reviews about the site which makes it hard to know how they operate.
There are no social media handles and the site does not mention where they are located. Caution is advised when shopping at usinginsert.com. There are other more reliable shopping sites out there.
