Is Thoisainvestments.com a Fraud or Legit?

With the world economy taking a hit due to the Covid-19 pandemic, people are always looking for ways to make extra money. Sometimes, this leads to people falling prey to investment scammers.

When we got a lot of requests about thoisainvestments.com, we were curious and wanted to find out more about the company. We wanted to gather enough information to know whether the site is a scam or not.

The Start Date

Usually, older companies have an easier time winning the confidence of customers. Having been operational for several years means people have had a chance to analyze the site. That’s not to say that all old sites are legit, they just have more information to compare with than new websites.

Thoisa Investments AG claim they were founded on May 4th, 2015 making them over 7 years old. But on Whois.com, the website, thoisainvestments.com was registered in March 2022 making it a few months old. Why would a legit company inflate its start date?

Well, turns out this is a common trick used by many scammers who their website to appear older than it is. They assume being perceived as older will mean more consumer confidence.

The CEO

A company’s CEO plays a crucial role in the execution of the company’s vision. That’s why such crucial companies as investment groups need to showcase their CEO. Thoisa Investments list Simone Tesolat as their CEO.

However, we could not find any online footprint of the person such as an online profile which would show Simon’s professional credentials.

The Investment Plans

With investment, it's an open secret that any package has to be realistic. After all, there is no investment without risks. Thus, when a company offers extraordinary returns, a few eyebrows are raised.

With Thoisa Investments, they seem to be offering quite high returns on investments. On the Investment page, they indicate they have two plans, Exclusive and Premium plans.

In the Exclusive plan, customers are expected to make a minimum deposit of $80 and have returns of 2% in 6 days. With the Premium package, the returns are at 3.1% for 6 days with a minimum deposit of $20,000.

This is similar to what we see with investment scams that promise quite high returns with users having to make a minimum deposit and have restrictions with withdrawals.

Bottom Line

Overall, though Thoisa Investment is a real Swiss company registered in 2015 UID number CHE-193.953.081, it is possible that scammers may be misusing a real company’s name to defraud people through online communication. The returns promised are unrealistically high especially considering the short duration of 6 days.

With market fluctuations and uncertainties that rock stock markets worldwide, it can be hard to guarantee returns every 6-8 days. This overlaps with what we see with other scams. Caution is advised when investing with Thoisa Investments. Though we tried searching for more information regarding the company registered in Switzerland, nothing except two names of management members turned up.
