Is Scopebe.com a Scam or Legit?

Have you heard of Scopebe.com? Maybe a friend referred you to the site or it showed up in your online shopping search results but, when it comes down to it, is Scopebe.com legit or just another scam?

Scopebe claims that they “love every passion and interest on Earth. And to spread exactly that is our core vision” and offer a lot of products from watches to bikes to board games.

After digging deeper into this company and its products, I'm ready to share with you what I've uncovered so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not to shop from them—get ready for my ultimate review of Scopebe.com!

New website

Though there is nothing wrong with a new website, it can be tricky to trust a new business. When I checked Scopebe at ScamAdviser and Whois.com, I was surprised to see they were registered in September 2022, making the site just 3 months old.

This is a very short amount of time for any company to make a name for itself. Most new websites don't have a lot of information about them that can help to inform your decision.

Scopebe.com Products & Prices

Scopebe offers a variety of products in the home and lifestyle categories, ranging from kitchen appliances to outdoor furniture. They also offer clothing and accessories for men, women, and children. The prices of their products are surprisingly low which does not help build user confidence in the website.

They offer huge discounts of over 90% which is a common trick used by scammers. Such low prices and huge discounts are meant to entice you to buy the products without thinking correctly.

For instance, the Bike High Step / Step-Thru goes for only USD $39.99 which is way below what other e-commerce sites are charging which is over $1500.

Scopebe.com copied content

Using other websites' content without giving the original source is a big turn-off. When I visited the Scopebe.com website, it was clear that some of the content had been copied from other sites. This is an indication that the company may have other shady practices going on behind the scenes.

For instance, in the statement found on Scopebe.com's "about us page", we found the same on many other sites. Webshops like  store.gudsen[.]com, Dnvanity[.]com, viltroxstore[.]com, and many more. This is yet another common trick used by scammers to make their site appear legitimate.

Who owns scopebe.com?

According to the information on the "Contact us" page, Scopebe.com is owned by Supic Company Limited which is registered in the UK.

When we searched about the entity on the Company House, we learned that Supic Company is owned by a Chinese national. We see this a lot with Chinese scammers who register one company and use it to hide many other dubious activities.

Customer Reviews & Ratings

Unfortunately, there are not enough customer reviews and ratings for Scopebe’s products yet, so it isn't easy to gauge how satisfied people have been with their purchases. Interestingly, a few products with positive reviews are found on the site. However, it's hard to verify the authenticity of such reviews.

Unusual Sale Tactics

We noticed some high-pressure sales tactics on the company's website. For instance, most products indicate the number of people viewing a product which implies that you have to act fast or you will miss out. This is an effective tactic to make buyers feel like they need to act quickly without taking the time to do their research and make an informed decision.

It is also worth mentioning that there is a pop-up in the bottom left corner indicating that the product has been bought by a certain customer. Again, this is just another tactic to make buyers feel like they need to act quickly and buy the product before it runs out of stock.

Bottom Line

After all the research I have done, my conclusion is that Scopebe.com is not a reliable website and should be approached with caution.  There are too many red flags that point to the fact that this site may be a scam, including copied content, hugely discounted prices, and suspicious ownership details. It would be best to shop from a more reputable e-commerce site.

Also, it is important to remember that even if you find an attractive price on a product from an unfamiliar website, it doesn't mean that the product is legitimate or worth purchasing. Online shopping scammers entice you with unrealistic prices to lure you into buying something that is not worth it. Therefore, be sure to do your own research before making any purchase.
