Is Rosiday.com a Scam or Legit? | Website Review

Rosiday.com is a website that claims to offer women's clothing. It has consistently been among the most-searched websites on Scamadviser. Therefore, we have done an in-depth review for the benefit of our users.

Rosiday is an online store that claims to be selling women’s clothing items such as blouses, shorts, sweaters, dresses, jumpsuits and more. The website is currently selling Christmas-themed clothing. Various items and the same models appear on other websites via reverse image search. There are odd examples, however, such as a Christmas outfit which clearly appears to be a photoshopped edit of a common grey one.

The website seems to be low quality and the content seems to be copied. There are at least 30 other websites using the same About Us page content. The full list is given at the end of the article in the ‘Appendix’ section.

The website also seems to be trying to mislead users about its age. Though the domain name has been registered in March 2020, the website footer states that it has been active since 2010. This is clearly impossible.

Scamadviser Verification

The Scamadviser page of Rosiday has not been claimed by the company.

Rosiday has a social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. The Facebook page was created on 25th March 2020, which is two days before the domain was registered. This once again shows that there is no evidence of the company operating since 2010. The Facebook page data shows that it is being operated from China.

8 months after the creation of the page, Rosiday is still running ads on Facebook. This suggests that they attract a majority of their customers through ads on Facebook and Instagram.

The Pinterest page strangely links to an inactive Shopify store called ‘dearbeach’. It also has a pin that is written in Chinese, once again showing that Rosiday is a Chinese website.

The website provides no information about the company itself. The only contact method given is an email address. No physical address or phone number have been given. This website also makes no indication that the products will be delivered from China. There is not even a return address provided.

User Reviews

Rosiday has several reviews on the website itself. However, these reviews are highly suspect as some of them have supposedly been written before the website even went live. Some of the reviews also carry dates that make no sense.

The actual reviews that are written on Scamadviser are overwhelmingly negative. Several customers have voiced the same complaints, namely, long shipping times, false advertising, wrong products being delivered, wrong sizes of clothes, unresponsive customer service and refusal to provide refunds. It seems to be a common practice for Rosiday to ship inferior products and then force customers to accept partial refunds, unless they want to ship the products back to China at their own expense. You can read the reviews here.

These complaints are identical to the ones that we have seen with Chinese scam networks such as the Uniqueness Scam Network and ChicV International Limited. This could mean that Rosiday is part of a larger network of scams too, especially since there seem to be at least 30 other websites that are related.

Conclusion

There is an extremely high likelihood that Rosiday is a scam.

Rosiday has a Trust Score of 1% on Scamadviser, which means it is extremely risky to shop on this website. You can read more about Rosiday’s Trust Score here.

The website is of low-quality and contains content that is being used by at least 30 other online stores. The festive-themed products on the website seem to be photoshopped versions of generic clothes found on other websites. Even though the domain was registered only in March 2020, the website claims that it has been active since 2010. Therefore, Rosiday is lying about the age of the website.

The Facebook page information shows that it is being operated from China. This means that Rosiday is a Chinese operation, which is a high-risk country for shopping scams.

There is no information provided about the company behind Rosiday. The only contact information given is an email address. There is no office address, return address or phone number given.

The positive reviews on Rosiday’s website look like they are fake, as some of them are shown to be written before the website was active. The reviews on Scamadviser show that customers have the same complaints against Rosiday that we have seen with numerous other Chinese websites, many of which have been found to be part of organized scam networks. These complaints include false advertising, delayed shipping, inferior products and an unfair Returns & Refunds policy.

For these reasons, we advise our readers to avoid shopping on Rosiday.
