Is Outlet-uk.com Legit or Fake?

At ScamAdviser, we have been getting a lot of inquiries about Outlet-uk.com with many questioning whether it's real or fake. This prompted us to do a deep dive into the website, leaving no stone untouched, until we have all the relevant information.

What we found on Outlet-uk.com, a clothing e-commerce website, is quite shocking. From copied content to hints of a potential scam, you don’t want to miss out on this one. Buckle up as we discuss everything there is to know about Outlet-uk.com.

Copied Content: Is Outlet-uk.com Part of a scam network?

One of the first things we check on a website is how authentic its content is. It turns out, that most scams, especially scam networks, use recycled content. Hence, when I landed on Outlet-uk.com, I was curious to see their “story”. On their About Us page, I  noticed this phrase: “We are a professional and reliable online shopping website providing a variety of hot selling products with reasonable prices and ship them globally.”

All this sounds interesting until I googled the same and was stunned to see the same appear on many other websites. In fact, on one website, Norstoreau.com, you could not even tell the difference as they share the same design layout and appearance on top of the content,

In both websites, they claim to be owned by Hong Kong-based IDENTITYDOM CO. Limited. The same company, which was registered in 2023, is also claimed by a host of other dubious websites such as Clothukoutlet.com. This suggests it's likely a shell company used to mask the identities of other websites.

Cheap Prices and Huge Discounts

One of the other things I noticed was the inclusion of huge discounts and price drops in most, if not all of their products.

This is a scammer's go-to move as they want ridiculously low prices and huge discounts to attract customers. We are not saying that every price drop is a scam, but when it's done on a large scale basis, it raises a few eyebrows.

No Customer Reviews

As with every other online store, checking customer reviews is crucial as it gives you a rare glimpse of what to expect. However, when I searched for customer reviews on popular websites such as Trustpilot and ScamAdviser, I couldn’t find any.

Though the lack of customer feedback does not necessarily mean a scam, it does little to boost customer confidence.

The Complex Return Policy

On the occurrence that you get a damaged, defective, or wrong product, you will have to foot the return shipping costs. This is becoming a common occurrence with dubious websites, some of which we have covered in the past like Cozeyhouse.com and Tv-evolution.com.

Chances are, you will likely stay with the unwanted product as in some cases, the cost of returning the product will be higher than what you paid for.

Bottom Line: Is Outlet-uk.com a scam?

Overall, there is a high possibility that Outlet-uk.com may be a scam. There are too many red flags that are too big to ignore. The content, design, and layout all mirror other dubious websites, there is a likelihood that Outlet-uk.com is part of a scam network. The lack of reviews does little to boost the already dwindling user confidence while the complex return policy is synonymous with dubious websites.

Exercise caution when dealing with Outlet-uk.com. There a more reliable and customer-friendly online marketplaces out there including fashion online stores. Happy and safe shopping!
