Is Ousell.com a Scam or Legit?

Is Ousell.com a scam or legit? It's the age-old question that plagues us all. On the one hand, there is the promise of great deals and discounts on Ousell.com, but on the other hand, there's the lurking suspicion that it might be too good to be true.

As an online retail shop that sells everything from dresses, to Men's Leather, Men's Martin Boots, Accessories, Female shoes, and much more, Ousell has been getting a lot of traction on ScamAdviser. That’s why we decided to write this review and give you all the information you need to make an informed decision.

Ridiculously Low Prices

Ousell.com offers prices that seem too good to be true. These prices are likely too low to be accurate which is meant to attract customers who may be unaware of this common scammers tactic.

For instance, the “Contrast Trim Single-breasted Tunic Dress” goes for $5.99 which is way below the market price.

Additionally, there is no guarantee of the quality of the item, so customers may be buying something that is of poor quality and not worth the low cost. Overall, the incredibly low prices offered by Ousell.com should be taken with a grain of salt, as they are likely too good to be true.

High-pressure sales tactics

We noticed that Ousell.com uses high-pressure sales tactics on its website. On most of their products, we noticed that they indicate the number of visitors on the site as well as the number of items they claim to have sold.

This is meant to psychologically pressure customers into quickly buying a product or else, the products may run out. It's a common trick used by scammers as they know that when you are under pressure, you are less likely to make logical decisions.

Ousell Misleading Contact Details

We found that Ousell.com is using an email with a different domain name. On the contact us page, they have listed their email as E-mail:ousell@vnntf.com.

This is common with scammers who make it hard for customers to contact them. In most cases, the email never goes through or there are no responses.

Who Owns Ousell?

On the Contact us page, Ousell claims to be owned by FADEL-BEATTY LIMITED which is in Ireland.

While on paper this looks okay, we found that the said company, FADEL-BEATTY LIMITED is listed by many other dubious webshops. In our research, we find many sketchy webshops using one registered company to mask their real identity.

This means even contacting the company, should anything go wrong with the order or product, will be very difficult.

Copied Content

While most websites strive to have authentic content, most dubious websites do not invest in quality content. We searched the following statement and found the Ousell home page and found it on a couple of other websites.

The statement “we love every passion and interest on Earth because it is a reference to your STYLE” has been repeatedly duplicated. This could indicate that Ousell.com engages in shady practices. Some of the other sites we have found with the same content include Scopebe, and you can read its review here.

Bottom Line

Overall, Ousell.com is likely a scam. Just like a lot of other bogus web shops out there, Ousell.com has a lot of negative things going for it. And they may just be the basis for why we urge you to be cautious when shopping here.

The prices are simply too good to be true while the contact email does not match the domain name. They seem to have copied content from other sites and they have suspicious ownership details.
