Mantraman is a relatively new website, having been started in November 2021. It is an online store dealing with everything from clothes to phones to accessories. But when many people sought to know if it was a legit shop or not, we decided to check it out.
The site explains, “The name “mantraman” is synonymous with fashion, quality, and affordable Indian wear.” Thus, they hope to provide good quality products.
When a company offers discounts and flash sales, it's usually to try and win new clients. But even with the biggest discounts, there are still some levels that a company may not go to. Otherwise, they will not be making good profits.
For Mantraman, they sell most of its products are considerably low prices. For instance, the Oppo F21 Pro 128 GB, 8 GB RAM, Sunset Orange, Mobile Phone goes for ₹12,999.00.
The same phone costs ₹24,598.00 on Amazon.in, which also has an offer, and earbuds are included.
Such huge differences don’t do much when it comes to winning the confidence of customers. On the contrary, it only fuels speculations that the deal is too good to be true.
As this is a relatively new website, there are few customer reviews. However, there are a few reviews I found on ScamAdviser that don’t make for pretty reading. The site received an overall 1 star out of 5.
This does very little to win over the already fragile confidence of customers. I could not find any other customer reviews on other trusted sites like Trust Pilot, MyWOT, or Sitejabber. Even on the site, I could not find any customer reviews on the individual products, as is the norm with most online stores.
On Google, customers were also complaining about ordering products but not hearing from the company.
Overall, we doubt the legitimacy of Mantraman.in. It is a new website whose characteristics overlap with what we see with other scams. Proceed with caution while shopping here.
