Since jollyjerk.com was one of the most searched websites on ScamAdviser.com, I decided to check it out. According to their website, Jollyjerk is a platform with a video chat feature for making friends, online dating, chit-chats, and in-depth conversations. The platform connects users with other random users from all across the globe.
The site was started in December 2021 and is only a few months old. Over that period, the site claims to have thousands of users across the world. While this could be true, the site is still young and more people are joining.
When I searched some of the text on the home page, I got other sites using the same exact text from a dozen other sites. Websites like Camloo, Videochat.chat, and many others are using the same text.
When I searched “connects you with a random person on the other side of the screen in mere seconds. Our video chat feature is completely free” on Google, the search results brought a lot of similar sites.
Jolly Jerk claims to have ultra-fast speeds and that you can connect with people in mere seconds.
But when you click on the “Start Chatting” box, it takes time to load. The site claiming to be fast was just a bluff to get more people to commit thinking they will get faster services.
Jolly Jerk does not have any social media presence. I could not find any Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram page that links directly to the site. At the same time, there were no reviews that I could find about the site.
Most legit sites will want to use social media marketing to get more visitors. The social media pages would also come in handy with customer reviews. There are also no reviews on the site itself, which does not help with the confidence.
There is limited information about the owners of the site or where they are based. I could not find any useful information about the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use on the site. They only provide scarce info about the safety of the user and that’s the only information available.
