Is Finalblend.com Legit or a Scam?

Finalblend.com is a website offering subscription services to access their library of music, movies and games. The pricing chart on the website shows that Finalblend has a $1 trial subscription offer and monthly subscriptions for music, movies and games cost $77 each.

A disclaimer at the bottom of the pricing chart makes it clear that by signing up for the trial offer, users are agreeing to be charged for a full monthly subscription after the 3 day trial period expires. The same is mentioned in the Terms & Conditions too.

The Refund policy of Finalblend states that users can request refunds. However, it also states that refunds will be declined for “partially used memberships” which implies that a subscription can only be cancelled in advance and not once it has started.

Finalblend’s website does not seem to tell the entire story, as reviews of this website paint a different picture. The reviews are in Spanish and French, and mention that the customers were charged €37 on a recurring basis even though they do not use the service. Curiously, the subscription price on the website is mentioned as $77 (€52).

These users most likely failed to read the fine print and ended up unwittingly playing Finalblend for monthly subscriptions. This scenario is similar to subscription services such as Themindtask, ExpenseFriend, Ebookcase, Geeker that we have previously written about where users are lured into signing up for a trial subscription with promises of free gifts only to end up with automatic recurring charges on their bank account that they did not know they were agreeing to.

Finalblend’s website contains the following company information:

EXELIGO LTD,
Registration #11685672,
Office 7a Brook House, Rayleigh Road, Rayleigh, Essex, SS9 5JG United Kingdom
Ph.: +44 130 523 5598
help@finalblend.com

Though I could not find more websites being operated by this company, the same phone number showed up in a complaint posted on SignalArnaques. The complaint states that the person paid a €1 shipping fee for a package they never received. It would not be farfetched to assume that this package was a free gift for signing up for a trial subscription offer.

While trying to verify the legitimacy of the company, I looked up the company address on Google Maps and found that no office of Exeligo seems to actually be located at this address.

In conclusion, even though Finalblend does not appear to be an outright scam, there are several complaints by users that they have been charged €37 recurring subscription fees without their knowledge. We urge our readers to always read the fine print before signing up and sharing financial information for any kind of trial offer as you may be agreeing to unfavourable terms.
