Is England-electrocom.com a Scam or Legit? | Website Review

England-electrocom is a website that claims to offer electronic devices at unbelievably low prices. It has consistently been among the most-searched websites on Scamadviser.com. Therefore, we have done an in-depth review for the benefit of our users.

England-electrocom claims to be selling various kinds of electronics such as phones, televisions, laptops and even home appliances. The website was created in November 2020 and is being operated anonymously. It has an Alexa Rank slightly over a million, which shows that it is not very popular compared to other sites.

The website appears to be of very low quality and severely outdated. For example, one of the home page banners talks about the ‘New iPhone 7’ even though the model came out in 2016.

The prices on the website are hard to believe too. A brand-new iPhone 7 is supposedly being sold for just £239.20, even though used models of the same phone cost more than £300 on Amazon UK.

The most astonishing thing about England-electrocom is that they claim to have the PS5 in stock. What’s more, they are claiming to sell it at less than retail price at a time when the console is out of stock everywhere and being sold at inflated prices by scalpers. High-demand products being sold at cheap prices is often the most obvious sign of a scam.

The rest of the website too has several strange things going on. Though the domain registration data clearly shows that it is impossible for the site to have existed before November 2020, the website footer implies that the site has been active since 2019. There is also a reference to ‘Technostore’ that makes no sense as it is not mentioned anywhere else.

The website claims to be of English origin. However, certain sections of the website are randomly in French. This might indicate that the website is actually operated from France.

Scamadviser Verification

The Scamadviser page of England-electrocom has not been claimed by the company.

The website states that England-electrocom is registered as ELECTRONIC CORPORATION in the UK, under the number 38138927900070. A search in the UK's Companies House database revealed that no such company exists.

No social media pages for the site could be found. There is text in the footer talking about social media pages, but no links have been given

The contact details provided on England-electrocom’s website are an email ID and address. No phone number has been given. While the email ID was found to be valid, the address seems to be fake. Google Maps does not show any evidence of England Electrocom’s store or office being located at the specified address.

Therefore, the only way to contact England-electrocom is by email.

User Reviews

The website itself contains a couple of reviews, but these are clearly fake as they contain stock images and dummy text. Also, they have been supposedly written in 2018, which is impossible as the website was only created in 2020.

No reviews for England-electrocom could be found on third-party review sites such as Scamadviser, TrustPilot and others.

Conclusion

There is an extremely high likelihood that England-electrocom might be a scam.

It has a Trust Score of 1% on Scamadviser, indicating that it is exceptionally risky to shop on this website. You can read more about England-electrocom‘s Trust Score here.

The website appears to be of low-quality and several strange things have been observed on it. The prices on the site are ‘too good to be true’. They claim to have the Sony PlayStation 5 in stock and are apparently selling it at lower-than-retail price. This suggests a high possibility of a scam as not only is the product out-of-stock in most stores, scalpers have been selling it at very high prices due to the exceptional demand.

The website also implies that England-electrocom has been active since 2019 but this is not possible as the domain registration data shows that it was created in November 2020.

England-Electrocom claims to be a UK-registered company called ELECTRONIC CORPORATION and have provided a registration number, but there is no evidence that the company is real. There is also some reason to believe that the site is operated from France and not England.

England-electrocom has no social media presence and the only way to contact them is via email. There is an address provided on the website, but it seems to be fake.

No customer reviews for the site could be found. There are reviews given on the website itself, but these are clearly fake as they contain dummy text and are dated before the website was even created.

It is advisable to avoid shopping on England-electrocom as there are quite a few signs suggesting that it might be a scam.
