Is Beunst.com Legit or a Scam?

Beunst.com is an online shop that offers a variety of second-hand goods, ranging from phones to computers. However, with an increase in online shopping scams, it's important to do your due diligence to ensure that the website is safe and not a scam.

In this review, we will take a closer look at Beunst.com and examine its safety and legitimacy. We will consider factors such as contact details, customer reviews, and prices to help you make an informed decision about whether or not to shop on Beunst.com.

Missing contact details

Unlike brick-and-mortar establishments, online shops require electronic means of communication between customers and the store. When I tried to check the ”Contact Us” page, I was stunned to see it could not be found.

When I checked the “Return Policy” page, I found that the email address was missing. This is a huge red flag that makes us doubt the legitimacy of Beunst.com.

Customer Reviews

Despite Beunst.com having been registered in March 2023, I struggled to find any customer reviews. I could not find any customer reviews on ScamAdviser, Trustpilot, or MyWOT. This does not help build user confidence as there is no insight into what you can expect from the online store.

Cheap Prices and Ridiculous Discounts

Even though Beunst.com claims to be a second-hand shop, some of the prices listed are ridiculously low. For instance, they claim to sell the New Apple iPhone 14 for $127.80 which is too good to be true.

On top of that, they offer more discounts, for example. buying 2 pieces will get you another 15% off while 3 pieces will get you 25% off.

Additionally, I noticed that they use high-pressure tactics to push customers into buying a product. They prominently display the number of items left in stock and the number of people who have the item on “their wishlist”.  This is a move to rush people, especially impulse buyers, into making a purchase.

Other Telltale Signs

Other red flags I noticed include:

  • They have not listed their location
  • I could not access the Terms of Service page
  • There are no social media buttons on the website
  • They have suspiciously left out the name of the country from where the website operates

Bottom Line

Overall, there is a high likelihood that Beunst.com is a scam. There are many characteristics that overlap with online shipping scams. For starters, there are no contact details listed on the website which is very suspicious. The prices are too-good-to-be-true while the inclusion of dummy pages in place of important pages such as  “Contact Us” and “Terms of Service” does not help.

There is no address listed and the site uses high-pressure sales tactics synonymous with scams. Caution should be exercised when shopping at Beunst.com.
