Is AirJShoe a Scam or Legit? | Website Review

AirJShoe is an online store that claims to be selling Nike Air Jordan Sneakers at extremely low prices. It has consistently been among the most-searched websites on Scamadviser. Therefore, we have done an in-depth review of this website for the benefit of our users.

AirJShoe was originally operating under the domain name www.airjshoe.com, but that was abandoned and the store now operates under a subdomain of Shopify. The current domain name of AirJShoe is airjshoe.myshopify.com. As it is operating on Shopify's platform, it is difficult to get information about the actual AirJShoe store.

The domain name airjshoe.com was registered in June 2020, which makes it a relatively new website. There is no information available about the website owner as it has been hidden for privacy.

AirJShoe has been one of the top-searched sites on Scamadviser in recent weeks. This could mean that the website is running ads on platforms such as Google and Facebook to attract shoppers.

The website itself is bare-bones and provides almost no information about the website owners. There is no brand logo, no design elements such as banners and the website doesn’t even have an About Us page.

The only products being sold by AirJShoe are different types of Nike Air Jordan Sneakers. There is no indication being given that the products are not original. However, the prices being offered are highly suspicious, as they are roughly 50%-75% less than the prices on reputed websites. This suggests that AirJShoe might be selling counterfeits or is an outright scam.

The only payment method available is PayPal. While going through the checkout process, I noticed that the PayPal account is named Yangxin xian taixin huagong co.ltd. This furthers the suspicion that the website might be selling Chinese counterfeits.

Scamadviser Verification

The Scamadviser page of AirJShoe has not been claimed by the company.

The Contact Us page of AirJShoe’s website provides an email ID and a Chinese address. The email ID has been created using a free service (Hotmail) and is therefore not an official email address. The physical address provided is of Putian, which is located in the Fujian province of China.

Upon searching the address in Google, the first result was an article which details how Putian is the ‘heart of China’s fake shoe industry’. Therefore, it can be said with considerable confidence that AirJShoe might be selling fakes.

User Reviews

There are no user reviews available for either of AirJShoe’s domains, probably because it is a relatively new website.

Conclusion

There is a high likelihood that AirJShoe is a scam.

Both of AirJShoe’s domains have a Trust Score of 1% on Scamadviser, which indicates that it is risky to shop on these websites. You can know more about AirJShoe’s Trust Score here and here.

AirJShoe gives no indication that it is selling fake sneakers, but there is a high chance that the website is actually selling counterfeits. The prices are suspiciously low and the address provided is of Putian in China, which is infamous for producing counterfeit shoes. The website is hosted on Shopify and uses a free email address, which shows that it is a low-budget operation. These factors indicate a possibility that AirJShoe might shut down without fulfilling customers’ orders. Even if orders are delivered, they might not live up to expectations as the products are likely to be of dubious quality.

It is advisable to avoid shopping at AirJShoe, as it is misleading consumers into thinking that they are ordering genuine Air Jordan sneakers when all the signs indicate that their products are copies of the originals. There are no user reviews which confirm that orders have been successfully delivered, which can also mean that it is an outright scam.
