Is Aglaraa.com Legit or a Scam? | ScamAdviser

Today we embark on a perilous journey into the depths of the world wide web, where the lines between scams and legitimacy are as blurred as the vision of a near-sighted mole. Our destination? A website that has sparked lots of searches on ScamAdviser, leaving users questioning whether it's a honey trap or a hidden gem.

Enter Aglaraa.com, an online webshop that sells everything from outdoor gear to toys to tools. However, are they genuine or a scam? It is important to approach such websites with a critical eye, as there are many fraudulent sites out there that seek to exploit unsuspecting users.

Ultimately, the purpose of this review is to provide an objective evaluation of the website in question and help readers make informed decisions when interacting with similar platforms online.

Confusing Contact Details

When I checked the contact details, I was shocked to see an email with a different domain name. Throughout the website, they have listed aglaraa@vipcservice.com as their email address.

This is a common move with scammers who make it hard for customers to reach out to them. Including an email with a different domain name raises suspicions that Aglaraa.com is likely a scam, especially as vipcservice.com is not even a functioning website

Customer Reviews

I could not find a lot of customer reviews, though that’s understandable considering the website was registered a few months ago. However, the reviews I got were negative, especially on ScamAdviser where customers are complaining about getting different products from what they ordered.

Another customer complains that they never got their package delivered and customer service did not help them but rather blamed the local post office.

The Real Owners of Aglaraa.com

According to the information I found on the “About us” page, the website is owned by Ansky Company Limited which is registered in London.

Ansky Company Limited has been claimed by a number of other scam websites which could suggest that Aglaraa is part of a larger syndicate. According to the information on the UK Companies House register, Ansky Company Limited was registered in 2018 as a company dealing in ‘wholesale clothing and footwear’. However, most of the products I found on Aglaraa are not clothing and footwear. Ansky is likely a shell company that is regularly used by scammers to mask the identity of the websites which claim to be owned by the limited company, as the registration information reveals that the owner is ‘Le Xin Lai Limited’ registered in Hong Kong.

Part of a Larger Scheme?

On the “About us” page they claim, “We are an e-commerce website with our own production facilities plus a large network of many trusted - high-quality partners all over the world”

The same exact text appears on a host of scam websites which is a telltale sign that Aglaraa.com is likely to be part of a scam network.

High-Pressure Sales Tactics

I did notice that Aglaraa.com uses high-pressure sales tactics which are synonymous with scam websites. There is a pop-up message which claims a certain user has made a purchase. On top of that, they also indicate the number of visitors who are viewing the product.

This high-pressure sales tactic is common with scammers and targets impulse buyers who would act hastily before losing a deal.

Bottom Line

In general, there is a high possibility that Aglaraa.com is a scam. Most of the characteristics we found overlap with online shopping scams. The customer reviews are mostly negative with customers complaining of either getting the wrong items or not getting the items at all. They are using high-pressure tactics to pressure customers into making hasty purchases.

They seem to use copied content from other scam sites and they also claim to be owned by a company with shady practices. It's only prudent that you exercise caution when dealing with Aglaraa.com.
