Online shopping comes with a lot of conveniences as well as a huge risk, as many scammers are lurking in the shadows. In the recent past, there have been a lot of queries on ScamAdviser about Inacool.com, which is why we decided to write this review.
Inacool.com is an online store that claims to be “supported by premium supply chains and a self-built supplier repository”, but are they legit or a scam? Let’s find out, shall we?
When I check on the “Contact Us” page, they claim to be owned by Meledo Company Ltd which is based in the UK. On paper, this sounds okay, but when you dig deeper, the cracks begin to show.
Possibly to try and conceal the company’s name and prevent people from doing further searches, they have included the information in the form of a picture. That did not hinder us from checking the information on the Companies House which revealed that Meledo Company Limited is actually registered by a Chinese national.
This is a common move by Chinese scammers who use one registered company to mask the real identity of the owners. Meledo Company Limited is also claimed by many other dubious websites, which would suggest that this is a shell corporation used by many dubious websites such as Cowboyex.com
I could not find a lot of reviews about the site, with only a single review being available on ScamAdviser. The review is negative, with the customer claiming they ordered a product and despite getting a tracking number, have never received it.
When I checked the site, I was stunned to see they only have one product to offer. On the home page, they only have a template with the name “Your product's name." This could indicate that the site is either incomplete or in the process of being wound up.
On “All Products,” they only have one product listed. This does very little to boost the confidence of users. This is the only product I could find on the website, which is strange.
As if that’s not enough, I noticed that they are using some high-pressure sales tactics. There is a timer alleging the sale is ending in a few minutes to rush visitors into buying the product. They also list the number of people allegedly viewing the product as well as a pop-up to show someone has bought the product. All these high-pressure sales tactics are meant to pressure you into quickly buying the product without doing your due diligence.
Overall, there are a lot of red flags that suggest the possibility of Inacool.com being a scam. The site claims to be owned by a company in the UK, which is likely a Chinese shell company that’s also used by many dubious websites. There are not many reviews outside the site and the one I found was negative, with the user claiming to have never gotten the product.
I was only able to find one product, which is strange, and the presence of high-pressure sales tactics is a common trick that scammers use. In general, caution should be exercised when shopping here, as there are more reputable shopping sites out there.
