The below story has been shared by Scamadviser user Godswill regarding his experience with EcoBTCMine, which claims to be a Bitcoin Cloud Mining Platform.
EcoBTCMine is a very big scam site. The guy that calls himself Mark, if it’s his real name, is a big-time scammer. He has scammed a lot of people but they could not report him because his business is online, or he has cut off their communication from him. I also invested, till now he has refused me from withdrawing unless I pay an extra $1,000 or refer people to his site, so that he will do same to them, and take away their hard-earned money.
Unknown to him, I took screenshots of all the chats we had on WhatsApp and Telegram, which I will share here as proof.
Mark says that if I bring in at least one referral then I can start withdrawing. One of the guys that referred me has more than 15 or 20 referrals, however, he is still not able to withdraw. If someone has 15 or more referrals, is he or she not eligible to withdraw?
This site should be stopped now before something bad happens to more innocent people, as many have been scammed already without anyone knowing. I know seven people who have been scammed by Mike of EcoBTCMine.
In my screenshots, you can see what the investment plans were when I started and how they have now been changed so that he has an excuse to withhold returns. He is still active on Telegram by changing his number
He also asked me to give him my password to withdraw the profit and send it to me. Instead, he withdrew it and left it vacant, saying the system did it that way. My friend’s account has been dormant for more than one month, but his money is still there because the scammer does not have his password.
Below are the screenshots which show the balance before and after he accessed my account:
These are from the Telegram chat we had where he is telling me that it is compulsory to invite referrals or deposit a minimum $1,000 to be eligible for withdrawal.
Friends, I request you all to avoid putting money into EcoBTCMine as I have experienced that it is a scam.
